Mackenzie King Tearoom

Take a break from your tour of the Estate, and stop in at the Mackenzie King Tearoom. It’s located in the Moorside cottage, one of cottages that were owned by former prime minister William Lyon Mackenzie King.

Take in the romantic atmosphere while you linger over English tea or savour a light meal, in an elegant, historical setting. The veranda overlooking the gardens is itself worth the visit.

The tearoom opens for the season on May 14, 2017, and closes in mid-October. The grounds are always open, so you can enjoy hiking, skiing and snowshoeing on Gatineau Park trails that pass through the Estate.
